The interprofessional graduate certificates in applied nutrition are 12-credit hour online programs tailor-made for a variety of healthcare professionals, fostering a rich interprofessional learning environment.Whether you're a physician, nurse, pharmacist, physical therapist, or other health professional, this program is your gateway to a deeper understanding of nutrition's impact on multiple patient populations.
The courses in our certificate programs explore complex nutrition issues and provide evidenced-based nutrition education to enhance your knowledge while teaching practical and clinically applicable skills within your scope of practice for various patient populations. Choose from one of three certificates to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovation: the Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Pediatric Nutrition launching in Spring Semester 2024, the Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Nutrition available in Fall Semester 2024, or the Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Sports Nutrition launching Fall Semester 2025.

Cost
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they are enrolled in the prescribed courses and to pay tuition and fees at the time designated by the Bursar's Office. Details regarding tuition/fee charges and collection are available from the Bursar's Office.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in Applied Nutrition program, applicants must have met the following requirements:
- Have successfully completed a bachelor's or higher degree in a health profession, or by permission of the program director
- A letter from the college indicating good academic good standing for those currently enrolled in a post-baccalaureate professional program

Curricular Details for Each Certification
The program consists of 12 hours of coursework, completed via four 8-week courses. Students may take up to 2 courses per semester with each semester divided into two 8-week terms. Completion of the program is possible in 2 fully scheduled semesters.
